Austine Omondi

Austine Omondi Owino was born on 18^th December 2022 to Benbela Owino Obuya and Debora Nelly Owino. Austine was the first born in a family of four children namely Valary Achieng, Naptali Juma and Kingsley Onyango. He was a grandson to  Phelister Juma and Elizabeth Ochaye.

Austine attended Ezra Gumbe  primary school in Kisumu from class one to eight. He passed very highland was called to Wangapala Boys High School. Having passed well at form four he then proceeded to Kenyatta University (KU) in Nairobi to pursue a Bachelor OF Science degree in Health Service Management.

Austine was a devoted Christian who participated in Church functions in campus as well as church home. He was a soccer player and a lawn tennis captain. Austine was a loving and hardworking child who encouraged his siblings  to work hard in school.He was a kind and obedient boy.

Austine was fine and healthy until he met his untimely death on 18^th March 2024.They were on their way to Mombasa for an academic trip when their college bus collided with a track at Maungu area in Taita Taveta County.He suffered head injuries and died while first aid was being administered.
