Robin Njogu

We mourn the passing of Robin Njogu on 16th March 2021.

Robin, who was Radio Citizen’s Managing Editor, died at Aga Khan Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for Covid-19.

A loving husband, doting father, amazing son, dependable brother and a true friend to many, Robin Njogu went through life with a big smile and cheerful laughter. His impact on the lives of every person he met is memorialised in the loving tributes that continue to flow, and in the hearts and minds of all those he touched. Much loved, Robin is immortalised through his impactful legacy.

He may be gone, but he'll never be forgotten.

Please note the following Funeral Committee Updates:

1. There will be a MAJOR FUNDRAISER, on Thursday 18th March, 2021 at 5.30 pm at Sagret Hotel, Milimani Road, Nairobi. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, if you are unable to attend, please send your contribution to MPESA Paybill No. (4068000), Account No (Your Name).

2. A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 25th March, 2021. (More details on the service will be provided in subsequent communication once the church guides on Covid-19 protocols)

3. Burial will take place on Saturday, 27th March, 2021 in Kitale. (Details on this will be shared in due course as well)

4. An online Tribute Memorial page will be opened shortly on www.safirisalama.com for you to share your tributes, videos and photos in celebration of Robin's life.
