Nahashon Wachira Chania

We are saddened by the news of the passing of Mzee Nahashon Wachira Chania in Arizona in his sleep on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, in the morning.

He was husband to Jemimah Wachira,.

He was a father to Joyce V. Muriithi, Eric Wachira, Gladys Chania-Mwangi, Duncan Mutugi, Dr. Judy Pinkham and Mercy Chania Kamau.

Father-in-law to Dr. Rev. Charles Muriithi Wanjue, Peris Wachira, Late George Mwangi, Josephine Mutugi, Cleo Youte and Alexander Kamau.

Grandfather to Jemimah & Neil Starkey, Ritchey Karaba, John & Carol Mutugi, Lewis Muriithi, Prescious Mwangi, Ritchey Mutugi, Duncan Muriithi, Evans Mureithi, Ryan Mwangi, Joy Kamau, Samuel Muriithi, Temmie Kamau, and Alexii Kamau and Great grandfather to Zuri Starkey and Kings Mutugi.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers being held at Kathaka home and Salvation Army church Thika at 5:30pm - 8:00pm daily .

The funeral service will be held at the Kenyatta University Funeral Home-Chapel on Saturday, 28th October 2023 as from 7:00am then proceed to Kirinyaga county where Mzee Nahashon will be laid to rest at his home at Kiriko.
