Mwalimu Robert Kinyua Nabea

 With heavy hearts we announce the death of our beloved father, Mwalimu Robert Kinyua Nabea On Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital. While undergoing treatment.

He was son of  the late Elijah M’Itumbiri and the late Martha Ciokamwira.

Robert was the loving husband to Rose Mwonjiru, devoted father to Lucy, Dr. Juster, Doris, Moses, Jane, Purity, Joyce, Phineas, and Glory. He took great care in guiding and mentoring his children, ensuring they attained quality education, wisdom, and moral compass. His presence and love in their lives was a source of strength and inspiration..

He was a treasured Brother to the late Stanley Gituma, late Francis M’Murithi,  late Rael Kanario,  late Severina Mombui, and Joseph Kingirwa. He was the son-in-law to late Elijah M’Athiru and late Sarah Ciolarama. He was brother-in-law to Martha Mbaa, late Samuel Kailiba, late Ithimbi, Sarah Nthama, Joseph Laibu, Eric Mwenda, Joyce Karuki and Janet Nkatha.

Loving father-in-law to Prof. George Muthaa, Dr. David Ntongai, Manasses Ithula, Julius Manyara, Titus Mutwiri, Munene Kailikia, Eunice Gitonga and Gwendolin Mutuma. .

A loving grandfather to Doreen, Dr. Carol, Evalyne, Debra, Kelvin, Brian, Abigael, Sharon, Kinrealms, Luin, Brandon, Dexter, Eutychus, Liam, Fabian, Tobias, Ella, Ancy, Lenny, Duke, Bevan, Raymond, Nobley, Dylan, Tatiana, Marcus, Petra and Litzy.  Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he took great joy in watching them grow and thrive.

Mwalimu Kinyua was also blessed with the joy of becoming a great-grandfather. The arrival of his great-grandchild, Zuriel, brought an added layer of happiness and fulfillment to his life.

He was a cousin to many, uncle to many and friend to many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily  at Blue Springs Hotel Nairobi (6-8pm),Narok at Galaxy  Hotel( 7-8pm) and at his home in Meru for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) on 7th September 2024 at 4:00 A.M. for the funeral service and  burial at his home in Mailune Village, Tigania East sub-county, Meru County.

In God’s hands, you now rest; your spirit and legacy will forever live on.
