Michael Githimbo Njoroge was born on 28th June 1966 to Josephat Njoroge Githimbo and
Cecilia Kabura Njoroge at Mitero Village, Mangu Location, Gatundu North Kiambu County.
He was the brother to the late Winnie Njeri ,the Late Hellen Ngonyo, Esther Nyambura,
Benadetta Wairimu (USA), Patricia Wambui and Herman Gathinji (UK).
CHILDHOOD
Uncle Michael was brought up as an obedient, humble, and trustworthy child.
CHURCH
Cousin Michael was baptized at Mangu Catholic Church by the late Fr John Meade. He was
a faithful follower of the catholic church.
EDUCATION
Brother Michael joined Gikindu Primary school from where he joined Kabete High school
after passing well in his primary level exams. After completing his secondary education
at Kabete High school and performed with exemplary excellence, Michael joined Kabete
Technical school where he pursued courses in accounting and passed well.
ADULTHOOD
Dad Michael was initiated into adulthood in 1982.
MARRIAGE
Brother Michael married the love of his heart madam Gladys Wairimu in 1996.After marriage
they were blessed with their first born child Cecilia Kabura and latter on with three more
children, Felista Muthoni, Mofat Njoroge and Cosette Njeri.
WORK
After completing his studies, uncle Michael started working as a private entrepreneur who
successively run several businesses in Nairobi, Mombasa and other towns in Kenya.
SICKNESS
The late Michael lived a healthy life until 2019 when he started feeling unwell. He was attended
at several Health care institutions such as Kenyatta, Igegania, Gatundu, Care hospital among
others. The late has been attending Pulmonology consultant clinic at KNH where he was
diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstruction of Pulmonary Disease). In Late April 2023, Michael
was admitted at KNH where he bravely fought his condition but succumbed on Sunday 6th
May 2023. Autopsy report indicated Ischemia secondary to COPD complications as the cause
of his death. We loved you but God loved you more. He was 56 years old. He is survived by
a wife, four Children and his grand child Njambi.
Rest in Peace our dear Uncle, Father, Cousin and friend Michael. It is God who gave us Michael and he has taken him. Amen
