Joseph Gakinyangi

With sadness we accept God's will as we announce the passing on of Mr. Joseph Mwangi Gakinyangi. 

The Late Joseph Mwangi Gakinyangi was born in the year 1932 in Nguku village, Gituire clan , Kigumo Murang’a County. He was the fourth born of Gakinyangi Gituire and Grace Wangari.

His siblings were the late Teresia Wangui Kihu, Mary Kaniaru, Ekira Nyambura Muhika na Mary Wanjiku Kahonge (wakagiri) na Emilu Njoki Muya.
Step-brother to the late Martha Wangui, the late Mugo Gakinyangi, Felista Njoki Kamau na Jane Nyambura Murigi.

The late Mwangi Gakinyangi was raised up and grew like other children. He was obedient and he helped his parents. With the dicipline he was raised in, he grew up to be a successful farmer, bothe crop and catlle rearing and a business man. With his sweat he raised a great family. 
 

MARRIAGE
In 1957 the late Mwangi Gakinyangi met his love Esther Njeri Gatu.
They were later blessed with sons and daughters namely; Peter Ng’ang’a, the late Tiras Gatu, Julias Wamagwi, John Njuguna, Paul Mirii, the late David Muguchia , Grace Wanjiku, Mary Wachera, Simon Njoroge, Teresia Wangui, Daniel Kimani, Tabitha Nyambura.

FROM WIFE
Dear husband, whenever your soul maybe, I know its listening. Thank you for bringing forth such a strong generation on earth, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be here. Thank you for living an exemplary life,
I will be hoping to lead a life long as you. Thank you for your instruction and advices you delivered when it muttered.
I humbly take this opportunity to bridge for anyone who may have wronged you here on earth by his words or actions find it in your soul to let it go and break loose the chains which emerged by your thoughts or words towards him/her that wronged you. May Jehovah see you through to the life you’re preparing to start have a wonderful and peaceful journey. Rest in peace.

CHURCH
The late Mwangi Gakinyangi joined ACK St, James Church Manyatta and their wedding vows were renewed on 24/12/1984.

The burial will be held on 19th Oct at the family home, the programme is as follows;

8.30 am: Arrival Nanyuki Hospital Mortuary
9.00 am: Viewing of the body
9.30 am: Departure from Mortuary
10.45 am: Arrival at home
11.00 am: Church service
