Hon Joel Munuve

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Hon. Joel Munuve Kimanzi, the dedicated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) for Kariobangi North Ward, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Joel was a beloved son of the late Johnson (Jacob) Kimanzi Munuve and Rachael Kimanzi, a cherished brother to John Katua Kimanzi and Ruth Betty Kimanzi, a loving brother-in-law to Prudence Katua and the late Michael Czerniak, a dear cousin, uncle, nephew, and friend to many. Joel was truly a man of the people!

As a dedicated public servant, Hon. Munuve served with integrity and courage, fearlessly advocating for transparency, accountability, and the welfare of his constituents. His independent spirit and relentless pursuit of justice left an enduring legacy in Nairobi County, inspiring all who knew him.

He leaves behind a grieving family, friends, colleagues, and the people of Kariobangi North, who mourn the loss of a selfless leader. His contributions will continue to shape generations.

Family and friends gather for funeral planning meetings at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, at 5:00 PM on the following dates:

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.

The interment will take place at the family home in Nzeluni Location, Mwingi West Sub-County, Kitui County, on Friday, May 9, 2025.
