““It's time to finally say goodbye, but I'll keep our memories close forever.””

It is with profound shock and sorrow to announce the demise of Japuonj Mama Jane Adhiambo Owiti on early morning of Friday 05/01/2024 at Ruai Family Specialist Hospital, Nairobi while in ICU admission.

Daughter to the late Japuonj Wilson Olweny Ogutu and the late Mama Monica Nyiera Olweny of Asembo Kochieng, Ramba.

She was wife to Japuonj Mzee Oscar Owiti Omira of Gem, Ndiru village.

She leaves behind five sons, John Marks Otieno Owiti, Wilson Humphrey Olweny Owiti, Godfrey Rodgers Omondi Owiti, Michael Philip Juma Owiti and James Aggrey Ouma Owiti.

Mama Jane's daughters in law are Mrs Florence Otieno, Mrs Lucy Olweny, Mrs Alice Omondi and Mrs Lilian Juma

Her 12 grandchildren are Merlyn, Benzil, Denzel, Stacy, Oscar Elly, Nicole, Clarence, Oscar Omondi, David, Keith, Kelsey and Emmanuel. Great granddaughter is Fracie.

Her siblings are Samuel Ouma Olweny, Mrs Margaret Oreng of Uyoma Katweng'a, Mrs Mary Osino of Sakwa Bondo and the late Mrs Alice Adundo of Uyoma Ruma.

Mama Jane was sister in law to The late Naftali Opondo and the late Mama Perez Anyango, The late Charles Opondo Omira and Mama Beldina Opondo, The late Japuonj Absalom Odera Omira and Mama Alice Odera, all of Gem, Ndiru village.

She was also sister in law to Mzee Remjius Ng'ong'a and the late Maslina Nyangaga Ng'ong'a of Alego Ng'iya, the late Mzee James Were and Mama Teresia Were of Ugenya, Yiro,  Mzee John Eliud Otieno and Mama Beatrice Aluoch Otieno of Yimbo, Usenge, Mzee Steve Okello and the late Mama Anne Achieng Okello of Sakwa and Ndira.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Road on 26th January 2024 then proceed for the burial  on 27th January 2024 as from 9:30AM in Gem South, Ndiru Village, Siaya County.

We shall continue with online fundraising in order to bridge the deficit.You are encouraged to continue participating and even top up as God shall enable.

Memorial service will be on Thursday 25th January 2024 at KUFH Chapel from 02:00PM and kindly arrive early to be seated by then.
