Isaya Ouma

EARLY LIFE

The Late Isaya Ouma Ochieng’ was born on 9th January 1991.He was son to the late John Martin Ochieng’ Obuny and Mama Ruth Atieno Ochieng’ of Kopudo Village, Seme Sub-county.He was a step son to Mama Alice Juma Onyango.

He was the Firstborn in a family of four siblings namely; Millicent Juma, Jared Onyango & Hezbon Owino.

He was cousin to; Michael Obiero,Juliana Obiero, John Ochieng’ among others.

EDUCATION

The Late Isaya started his Education at Reru R.C. Primary School & later transfered to Lela where he sat for his KCPE in 2007. He passed his exams very well and joined Bonde Secondary School until 2011 when he sat for KCSE Examinations.

WORK & SOCIAL LIFE

The Late Isaya went to Nairobi in 2012 to look for a job. He settled with his elder cousin Michael Obiero (Jakopudo Makobiero) & he proposed that he wanted to become a mechanic.

Makobiero took him to Njiru Garage where he trained and qualified as a field mechanic.After gaining sufficient experience,he moved to Ruai, open garage where he worked until the time of demise.

DEMISE

The late Isaya met his untimely death while on his usual daily activity on 4th June 2023 at Joska Kangundo Road, Machakos County.He was repairing a Ten-wheeled Truck which he finished well. Him and his co-worker instructed the driver to start and test his Truck. He immediately noticed a jack under the truck and went to remove without clear communication with the driver. The driver engaged gear and the vehicle ran over Isaya and he died instantly.
