EULOGY OFTHE LATE ESTHER NJERI MWANGI GAKINYANGI

CHILDHOOD

The late Esther Njeri was born on 04/08/1936 to her parents Wakurura Gatu and Gatu Njuguna in Kariani Kigumo, Muranga County.She was a sister to the late Nyambura Githinji, late Mucetho Gatu, Stanley Mugucia, late Wanjiku Kabuku, late Wanjiru Kagambi, late David Kimani and late Ndungu Gatu andStep sisterof karagu Gatu and Alloise Kimani.She was a good daughter to her parents.

EDUCATION

The late Esther Njeri went to school at Githima Primary School.

WORK

The late Esther Njeri was a business Woman, a farmer till her demise.

MARRIAGE

The late Esther Njeri met her love, the late Joseph Mwangi Gakinyangi and started a family in 1957 the couple renewed their vows in 1984 at St. James ACK Manyatta.She was a loving mother to Peter Nganga, late Tiras Gatu, Julius Wamagwi, John Njuguna, Paul Mirii, late David Mugucia,Grace Wanjiku, Mary Wacera, Simon Njoroge, Teresia Wangui Kihu, Daniel Kimani and Tabitha Nyambura.

 Mother-in-law of Alice Nganga, late Rose Gatu, Agnes Wamagwi, Anne Njuguna, Eunice Mirii, Leah Mugucia, Eliab Karugu, David Maina, Veronica Kimani and Francis Mbothu.

Sister-in-law  of late Teressia Wangui Kihu, late Mary Kaniaru, late Ekira Muhika, Wanjiku Kahonge, Emily Njoki Muya,, Mwangi Gakinyangi, late David Mugo, late Martha Wangui Kariuki, late Njoki Kamau and late Jane Nyambura Murigi.

A grandmother and great grandmother of Many and Aunt of Many.

CHRISTIAN LIFE

The late Esther Njeri was adevoted member of Anglican Church of Kanya (ACK) was Baptized and Confirmed. She was a member of Mother's Union untill her demise.

FRIENDS

The late Esther Njeri and her late husband Mwangi Gakinyangi were good family friends.

SICKNESS AND DEATH

In 1995,The late Esther Njeri fell sick and admitted in Nyanyuki- General Hospital since then  she was going in and out of clinic at St Mary's Hospital and Willpharm Hospital Naromoru.On 21/02/2024 she was rushed to Kalimoni Mission Hospital and passed on upon arrival.

She passsed at the age of 87.

2nd Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith".
