Esther Makungu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Esther Makungu Zimango who went to be with the Lord on 26th June 2023 in Nairobi county. 

Daughter of the late Kang'ereha and the late Livanze of Gavudia village, Vihiga County.

Esther and the late Nelson Zimango  were blessed with eight children, Jane, Samuel, Josephine, Evans, Peter, Betty, Rachel and Joshua. She leaves behind many grandchildren including Oliver Vuavi, Hilda Makungu, Judy Makungu, Fredrick Masitsa, Diana Iminza, Faith Muhonja, Clifton Asiavugwa among others.Great grandchildren including Jayden Isagide, Jayden Lutungu among others.

Sister to Sarah Iminza and the late Norah Muhonja.

 She was the doting Aunt, Cousin and friend to many.

Her funeral service will take place on Saturday 8th July, 2023 at 10.30am. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest in Guluma village, Busali, Vihiga county.
