EULOGY OF DOMINIC NGIGI MWATHI
BIRTH
The late  was born on 15th June 1969, at kagambwa, Makwa Sub_location, Chania Location, Gatundu Division, Kiambu District, his parents were Michael Mwathi Mungai and the late Margaret Waithira Mwathi.
He was a loving brother to Mary Wambui, the late John Mungai, Francis Wanyoro, Nancy Njambi, Irene Muthoni, Jane Njeri, Lucy Wangari, Bernadette Wambui and Joseph Mwaura.

CHILDHOOD
The late Dominic Ngigi Mwathi grew just  like other children, he was an obidient child, humble, jovial, loving and loved by all.
His extra devotion to hard work made him to be entrusted with responsibilities by his parents thus lived in harmony with his siblings and the community both young and the old..

CHURCH
The late Dominic Ngigi was taken to church at his tender age by his parents and was baptized at kiari Catholic Church 1980 by Father James Miede.
He later joined Chrisco Church Thika Road in the year 1988.

EDUCATION
He enrolled at Kangaita primary school in the year 1981 and joined Std 1 where he progressed well and sat for his KCPE Exam in the year 1988.

INITIATION
The late Dominic Ngigi Mwathi was initiated accordingly to the Agikuyu Customarily Rite of Passage in the year 1988.

WORK.
He got employed at Kenblest Bakers Thika in the year 1989, and thereafter in the year 1990 moved to Kibera Line Saba and started his own business.
Later in the year 1991 he moved to City Center Nairobi CBD where he started selling Blazers and jackets.
He then ventured in other business in Nairobi CBD untill his demise.
The late Dominic Ngigi Mwathi was a very active  politician which led him to be elected in the year 1994 as the  Chairman of Ford Asili Party Ward 28 currently known as Central Ward.
Due to his leadership skills and good relationship with otherbusiness people within Nairobi Town, Members of Mwariro Association elected him to be their chairman.

FAMILY LIFE
The late Dominic Ngigi Mwathi met Susan Wanjiku Ngigi and married her in the year 1990 and in the year 2002 met Rachael Wanjiru Ngigi and married her as his second wife.
The late Dominic together with his wives were blessed with children namely; Michael Mwathi Ngigi, Tabitha Wanjiru, Ann Waithira, Kennedy Mwaura, Ruth Waithira, James Kinyua, Ken Mwathi and Trizah Waithira.

ILLNESS AND DEMISE
The late Dominic Ngigi Mwathi has enjoyed good health untill November 2022 where he became unwell and has been receiving treatment from various hospital including Mbagathi Hospital , Thika level 5 and Kenyatta Hospital.
On 27th August 2023 his health condition deterorieted and was rushed to Thika level 5 Hospital and admitted.On 29th August 2023 at 6am the Lord called him home at the age of 54 years.
Dominic Ngigi is survived by his two wives, children and great grand children.

Its the Lord who gave Dominic Ngigi to us and its Him who has taken Dominic home.
