EULOGY OF CHARLES IRUNGU MWANGI

Charles Irungu Mwangi was born 12.12.1981 at Gikarangu village, Gaturi location Muranga county. He was 
the 6th born of Mr. Benson Mwangi and Mrs. Margret Wambui Mwangi. He was brother to the late Peter 
Gathee, late Lucy Wanjiru, James Kanyi, John Wambuu, Patrick Maina, Eunice Muthoni, and Eric Kariuki. He 
was uncle to many. He is survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces. 
INITIATION
Charles was initiated to adulthood to kikuyu culture in the year 1998 after completing his primary 
education.
EDUCATION
Charles went to Karinga nursery school then to kiamuri primary school and completed in the year 1998.
From there he went to Nairobi to pursue a course and career in automotive mechanic. He was blessed with 
a bountiful business at Grogon area of Nairobi.
MARRIAGE LIFE
Charles was blessed with a wife and two children although separated.
SOCIAL LIFE
Irungu or Ruwa as he was commonly known was very social and loved to partcipate in community work. 
Ruwa, was generous and kind, he was known for going out of his way to assist the ones in need. He was free, 
loving to everyone around him. He made everybody laugh with his jokes and life's perspective.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
Irungu was commited to his Christan life. He was baptized at Karinga ACK his childhood Church. In Nairobi 
he was a commited member of JESUS WINNER MINISTRY -ROYSAMBU NAIROBI where he received his 
spiritual nourishment and supported the body of Christ.
DEMISE
Charles started to has health issues in the year 2018 after an accident. He has been admitted and treated at 
various hospitals including Muranga general, Kiambu level four hospital among many other health 
facilities. He passed on in his sleep on Sunday the 21/01/2024.
