It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God's will that we announce the promotion of glory  Our beloved Charles Gikonyo Wahome, who went to be with the Lord on 4th March 2024 in Nairobi.

Beloved son to the Late James Wahome Gikonyo and to the Late Esther Wangari Wahome (Wakaringi)

Loving husband to Gladys Njoki.

Cherished father of James Wahome Gikonyo, Esther Wangari Gikonyo and Lydia Wambui Gikonyo.

Dotting brother to the late Karinge Wahome, Peter Kibocha, Joyce Wanjiku, the late Esther Njeri, Gacheke Wahome and Marion Warau.

Loving uncle to Joseph Kagumba, Esther Kibocha, James Wahome Kibocha, James Wahome Mureithi, Jane Rosa Wangui, Patrick Wanyiri, Rosalid Gaceri, Shifra Wangari, Emily Kaari, Joy Wanjiku, Ephraim Micheu ,Gibson gitonga , Esther muhiki and Caroline.

Grandfather to Lamar Gikonyo, Jimbraydon Wahome, Gwen njoki,Christine Mukii, Gianna Wandia and Michaella Njoki.

Father in law to Caroline kanyeki and the late Michael mbithi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Ruiru, Matangi and also at Gathea-mihuti, Mukurweini in Nyeri as from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Road on 13th March 2024 then proceed for the burial at his home in Gathea, Mihuti-Mukurweini in Nyeri County.
