BIRTH
The late Caroline Chelangat Milgo was born on 15 September 1985. She was the second
born child to the late David Milgo and Esther Milgo, sister to the late Ann Chepkemoi,
Weldon Cheruiyot, Godfrey Cheruiyot, the late Kimutai, Brenda Sompe, Scolar
Chepkirui, Brian Cheruiyot and Viola Cherotich. She was a sister-in-law to Sompe
Ntimama, Naomy, Sheila and Ngugi.
She was a loving Aunty to Bidian, Naserian, Saidimu, Kevin, Naini, Gavi and Layden.
CHILDHOOD
From a very early age, Caro portrayed a strong sense of respect and love towards her
family members and friends. With her passing, Caro leaves behind a legacy of Kindness,
Compassion and generosity.
EDUCATION
Caroline started her formative education at Shadrak Kimalel primary school in Nairobi
then later transferred to Eland Academy in Kericho where she completed her primary
level. She later joined Getarwet Secondary school where she completed her O level
education in the year 2005.
She later joined Pine Breeze college where she did her diploma in pharmacy.
FAMILY
Caroline was blessed with two children, Michelle Chepkirui who cleared high school last
year (2022) and is awaiting to join university and Bill Kibet Langat who is in Std 8 at
Kong-Asis Academy.
She will be missed dearly by her children.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
Caroline was born to a Christian lineage family. She was an active child as from Sunday school and gave her life
to Christ through baptism in the year 2022 and was dedicated to God's work since then. Until her demise, she was
an active member of PEFA Church led by Rev. Joseph Cheruiyot.
HEALTH
Caroline lived a healthy life throughout her childhood, she started
complaining of chest pain some few years back where she could get checked and
received medication. This issue since progressed to a point she could often
complain of chest pain and congestions which were later diagnosed as
Asthma.
Her body developed more problems including hypertension and diabetes which
led to deterioration of her health due to continuous medication.
She was treated in many hospitals including Longisa Referral, AIC Litein Mission Hospital,
Narok Cottage Hospital, Siloam Hospital and Kericho Referral Hospital where she was
diagnosed with Meningitis. She was later then admitted to St. Leonard's Hospital at Kericho
for further care.
Unfortunately her body wasn't able to withstand the load of the drugs and she succumbed on Friday 5 May 2023 at about 6:30 PM.
