EULOGY OF THE LATE ANN WAMBUI GITONGA

Birth
On the 26th of October 1996, a precious angel graced the world with her presence at St. Catherine in Kawangware, Nairobi County. Ann Wambui, the beloved firstborn child of Charles Gitonga and Mary Wairimu, brought immeasurable joy and love into their lives from the moment she arrived. Alongside her devoted parents, Ann shared a special bond with her lovely brother, John Mugoya, as they embarked on the journey of life together, united by familial love and cherished memories.

Education

In the journey of education, Ann Wambui embarked on her path at Kihumbuini Primary School before continuing her studies at Genesis, and completed her KCPE Examination at Lakeview Vidrose Academy. She then transitioned to Kiriti Girls High School in Mathioya, Muranga, where she dedicated herself to her secondary education, culminating in her KCSE in 2015. Following her passion, she pursued a Diploma in Hospitality at Uzuri Institute in Thika, and in June 2020, she proudly walked the stage to receive her well-deserved graduation.

Career
The late Ann embarked on a post-graduate journey that took her through various roles in the hotel. Known for her unwavering dedication and commitment, Ann approached every opportunity with diligence and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Most recently, she found fulfillment in her role at The Statehouse in Nakuru. Ann's devotion to her work was evident in her wholehearted dedication to her responsibilities, and she pursued each task with passion and sincerity until her untimely passing.

Church Life
Ann’s life was deeply intertwined with her strong Christian faith. She was baptized as a child and later confirmed at PCEA Gituamba Church in the Ruai East Parish, where she found spiritual guidance and a community of believers to share her journey with.

Demise
Ann Wambui, enjoyed good health throughout her life and remained so until her final moments. However, on the morning of February 21st, 2024, she was discovered in a critical condition at her residence and swiftly taken to Nakuru Annex Hospital. Tragically, she was pronounced to have rested peacefully upon arrival. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a life well-lived.
