EARLY LIFE
Amos Onyango popularly known to his family and close friend as a “Amo” or “Ford”was born on 8th of August 1992 at the Pumwani Maternity Hospital in Nairobi City County.He was the son to the late Amos Onyango and the late Jennifer Okumu Onyango.Amos was the last born in a family of six children,made-up of four boys and two girls:Michael Odour Onyango, Simon Oriro Onyango, Laurence Onyango, Beatrice Atieno Onyango and Linet Ajwang' Onyango.
EDUCATION
Amos attended Baba dogo primary school from standard 1 to standard 8 and sat for his KCPE in 2011.In 2012 he joined shiners boys high school in Nakuru where he sat for his KCSE in 2015.
WORK
After Amos finished primary school, he first was employed at a hotel in ngara and later joined lucky Baba dog (LBD)matatu SACCO.After two years, Amos left LBD SACCO to pursue self employment as a motorbike rider. He was based near Zawadi supermarket in lucky summer estate, where he worked peacefully untill he met his untimely death.
CHURCH AND FAMILY
Amos was a God-fearing man who was a regular attendee at Baba dogo Catholic church. He is survived by three children:Jezreel and sons; Enrique and Dylan.
DEATH
On Saturday May 2023, while on duty within the early morning hours Amos was accounted and stubbed multiple times by thugs who boarded his motorcycle at kariadudu estate at ruaka.He was killed instantly.
Amos will be fondly remembered as a hardworking and Loving brother and father, a jovial cousin, nephew and uncle, and a dear friend to many people whose life he affected with compassion and humility.
